Job Description
Join the Meghna Group of Industries as a Senior Technician for our Mechanical Rolling Mill! We are seeking a skilled individual to perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on our rolling mill machinery, including: Reheating furnaces, hot rolling mills, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, lubrication and central greasing units, bending machines, EOT cranes, and water treatment plants. Ensure continuous functionality and production efficiency by diagnosing and resolving operational issues in a timely manner. Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and take necessary corrective actions. Execute all maintenance activities according to engineering standards, tolerances, and industry best practices. Follow established procedures, technical guidelines, and engineering policies while performing tasks. Ensure necessary parts for scheduled and future maintenance tasks are in place and maintain proper inventory of spare parts. Carry out various fabrication-related tasks as needed. Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping in the maintenance area. Ensure a safe working environment by adhering strictly to company safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices. Strong knowledge of rolling mill machinery (mill stand, gearbox, conveyor, shear, cooling bed, etc.). Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
