Job Description
Site Engineer (Civil) – for LEED Certified Pre-fab Steel Structure Garment Factory Project Job Context: Entrust Group is on the forefront of sustainable development with our cutting-edge garment production facility designed to meet LEED certification standards. We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and ensure the seamless execution of all construction operations. The role demands a commitment to excellence and sustainable building practices. Job Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor all aspects of steel structure construction and completing tasks in accordance with the approved designs and plans. Ensure compliance with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC-2020), Regulatory Standards for Construction (RSC), and LEED guidelines during all stages of construction. Oversee steel structure erection, completing finishing works, installing utilities, and ensuring site safety compliance. Verify labor bills and maintain accurate daily worker attendance records. Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and management to facilitate smooth project execution. Monitor the quality of construction, safety standards, and compliance requirements at the project site. Prepare daily progress reports and keep management updated on project developments. Carefully monitor the use of construction materials to minimize waste and ensure timely supply. Remain present at the project site to manage and supervise construction activities effectively. Education and Experience Requirements: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in construction, particularly in garment manufacturing facilities. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of BNBC-2020 and RSC guidelines on building construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) for design and drafting purposes. Deep understanding of construction quality and building materials. Effective contractor and worker management skills. Proven problem-solving skills with practical field experience. Able to work within a team and provide leadership. Age Requirement: Individuals must be at most 32 years old. Job Location: Gazipur (Sreepur) Benefits: Mobile bill provided.
