Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join our team for maternity coverage in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. This full-time position will commence as soon as possible with a contract duration of 4 months. Your primary responsibility will include project implementation in the Ukhiya camps while ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. Key responsibilities consist of: Conduct regular visits to the camp area and implement activities with a focus on quality.Prepare drawings, designs, and cost estimates per project requirements, maintaining a clear quality monitoring system.Facilitate training sessions and provide on-site support to field facilitators and volunteers.Assist with daily master roll preparation and payments to project beneficiaries.Provide technical guidance to masons and contractors to implement site improvement works.Lead data collection and reporting for project review.Comply with organization policies and practices, especially regarding health and safety.Proactively promote gender equality and child protection measures across all activities. To be successful for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education: Diploma/B.Sc in Civil Engineering.Experience: Minimum 2 years in Shelter/NFI activities in the Rohingya camps.Technical skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Good command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of the local dialect is an asset.A collaborative and proactive attitude required to work with diverse teams.
