Job Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations including ERP Software attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and worker discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and the buyer's Code of Conduct.
  • Supervise and guide a team of admin, and welfare officers.
  • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of workers and staff in coordination with production needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date manpower planning and HR reports.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR and compliance.
  • Promote employee welfare, engagement, and safety practices on the floor.
  • Maintain effective liaison with production, compliance, and head office teams.

Job Description

Are you a proactive and skilled HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Jahir Group is seeking a dedicated Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager to lead our HR operations in Dhaka. This is a unique opportunity to shape and manage key HR strategies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and promoting an inclusive workplace culture. Manage daily HR operations including ERP Software attendance management, payroll coordination, and maintaining worker discipline. Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and our buyer’s Code of Conduct. Supervise and guide a talented team of admin and welfare officers to enhance operational efficiency. Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions effectively. Coordinate recruitment processes in alignment with production needs to ensure the right talent acquisition. Keep up-to-date manpower planning and HR reports for strategic insights. Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance and best practices. Promote employee welfare, engagement, and safety practices across the workplace. Maintain productive liaison with production and compliance teams for seamless HR operations. Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have: A Bachelor’s or Honors degree; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. PGD in HRM from BIM or similar institutes will be considered an advantage. 2 to 5 years of experience in HR within manufacturing (FMCG) or agro-based firms. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills. Additional Job Requirements: Age between 32 to 45 years. Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
