Job Responsibilities
- Follow up different apiary in different location and manage field laborer and experiments
- Assist in installation and maintenance of beekeeping machinery
- Support and develop beekeeper regarding beekeeping project work
- Negotiate with farmers to provide pollination services in the growing of fruit, seed and vegetable crops
- Conduct field work in remote locations under adverse conditions for prolonged periods
- Assist in area selection for beekeeping and bee breeding
- Maintain severe control over diseases and pests
- Maintain labour attendance, stock and resolution book
- Prepare daily and monthly reports, observation reports and expenditure reports
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place
- Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate Technical Assistant for our Beekeeping division at BRAC Enterprises. This role offers the opportunity to work in the field, supporting local farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The candidate will be integral in managing apiaries, assisting in machinery maintenance, and contributing to beekeeping project work.Follow up on various apiaries in different locations and manage field laborers and experiments.Assist in installation and maintenance of beekeeping machinery.Support and develop beekeepers regarding project work.Negotiate with farmers to provide pollination services for crops.Conduct fieldwork in remote areas under challenging conditions.Assist in area selection for beekeeping and breeding.Maintain strict control over diseases and pests.Keep attendance, stock, and resolution records.Prepare daily, monthly, observation, and expenditure reports.Ensure team members’ safety and promote safeguarding policies.Follow established procedures for incident reporting.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Job Requirements:The ideal candidate must hold at least a Diploma in Agriculture or H.S.C in Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Experienced candidates in beekeeping or honey production will be given preference.
