Job Responsibilities
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
- Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Planning and scheduling repairs
- Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Position: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at BRAC Healthcare Ltd. This position is crucial for ensuring the functionality and safety of all mechanical systems within our facilities. Respond promptly to emergency situations, following established safety protocols. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems in accordance with health and safety standards. Implement preventative maintenance procedures to avoid equipment failures. Repair faulty equipment units and structures, ensuring all facilities are in peak operating condition. Manage heating, plumbing, and electrical systems for optimal functionality. Inspect and maintain alarm systems; schedule repairs as required. Plan and schedule routine maintenance tasks effectively. Assist in budgeting for the maintenance department to ensure appropriate resource allocation. Promote and uphold safeguarding policies among team members to foster a safe working environment. Required Skills: Strong experience in maintenance, particularly in healthcare or related sectors. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external partners. Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Diploma or Vocational Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least a CGPA of 2.50 or 2nd division/class. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field, preferably within manufacturing (FMCG), retail, healthcare, or related industries.
