Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a training & development roadmap aligned with company strategy
  • Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) across departments and outlets
  • Design curricula, workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training materials
  • Deliver training sessions and coordinate external trainers when required
  • Integrate training outcomes with performance management and IDPs
  • Define KPIs and measure training effectiveness using assessments and business metrics
  • Manage T&D budget and maintain training resources inventory
  • Ensure mandatory compliance training (product safety, customer policies) is completed
  • Report training outcomes to senior management and refine programs based on feedback

Glowee Bangladesh is hiring a motivated and experienced Training & Development Manager to lead learning, upskilling, and performance improvement across our retail and corporate teams. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure training programs align with business goals and deliver measurable results.What you will do (Key responsibilities)Develop a multi-year training & development roadmap aligned with Beautyology’s strategic goals and commercial priorities.Conduct regular Training Needs Assessments (TNA) to identify skill gaps across retail outlets, e-commerce teams, and corporate functions.Design curricula, classroom modules, e-learning courses, workshops, and on-the-job training tailored to Bangladeshi context and product lines.Create or source high-quality training materials including presentations, guides, videos, and assessment tools.Deliver training sessions for new joiners, product launches, soft-skills, and leadership modules; engage external subject matter experts when needed.Work with line managers to integrate training outcomes into performance management and individual development plans (IDPs).Define KPIs, collect evaluation data (pre/post assessments, satisfaction scores, business impact), and report training outcomes to senior management.Manage the T&D budget and ensure effective use of resources and training technologies (LMS, e-learning).Ensure compliance training (product safety, customer policies) is delivered and tracked for all staff.Required skills & qualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Education or related field (BBA preferred). Master’s (MDS) or diploma in training/organizational development is an advantage.Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in training & development, ideally in retail, cosmetics, consumer goods or e-commerce environments.Strong facilitation, presentation, and training design skills, plus experience with assessment and evaluation techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bengali and English; ability to engage frontline staff and leadership alike.Experience with LMS/online learning platforms, and familiarity with learning metrics and ROI measurement.Who should applyThis circular is targeted at female candidates aged 25–32 with a track record in T&D within retail or e-commerce.
