Job Responsibilities
- Design cores and windings of various types of transformers, such as Wound Core or Stacked Core.
- Perform overall transformer design calculations and prepare winding and insulation designs.
- Conduct cooling calculations and select cooling components and other major materials as required.
- Prepare transformer design summary and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Supply Chain Department).
- Implement the design and maintain coordination between the electrical team and other departments.
- Conduct design reviews and transformer testing (Routine and Special Tests); provide technical support during testing as needed.
- Ensure product quality by coordinating with the Quality Control (QC) team.
- Lead the Research & Development (R&D) team and analyze and improve existing designs.
- Maintain documentation and revisions according to design evolution.
- Prepare reports in coordination with the line manager and provide training to others if required.
- Ensure quality audits of engineering work in accordance with project procedures and standards.
- Provide answers to technical queries from customers, production department, or other divisions.
