Job Description
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in financial oversight and strategic planning? German University Bangladesh is seeking a dedicated Treasurer to lead our financial operations and ensure seamless management of our university's finances. Overview of Responsibilities: Supervise the overall management of the university’s finances. Oversee annual budget preparation and implementation of financial discipline. Manage accounts of income and expenditure efficiently. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to financial management. Implement strategies for sustainable financial growth and transparency in accounting practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or an equivalent qualification; a PhD will be preferred. At least 15 years of progressive experience in teaching, administration or financial management. Exceptional analytical skills and competence in financial modeling. Strong communication skills both verbal and written, fluency in English. Ability to work collaboratively and lead financial teams effectively.
