As a USG Assistant or ultrasound assistant, you'll support ultrasound technicians and radiologists in conducting ultrasound procedures, essential for diagnosing and treating patients.Here’s what you would be doing as a USG Assistant:Patient Care and Preparation: You will welcome and verify patient identity, explain ultrasound procedures, and assist patients in changing and positioning for their exams, maintaining their comfort and dignity at all times.Assisting with Procedures: Help with the setup and operation of ultrasound equipment, assist during procedures like biopsies, and ensure patient positioning is optimal for imaging.Image Acquisition and Documentation: Accurately capture and review ultrasound images and maintain patient records and imaging logs.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the ultrasound room is clean, organized, and stocked while maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment.Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff, reporting unusual findings to the supervising technician or radiologist.Compliance and Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.Job Requirements:Full-time position with a dedication to patient care.Willingness to work at the office located in Dhaka, although the job is open to applicants from anywhere in Bangladesh.Strong communication skills are a must, and the ability to work effectively within a team.This position offers a chance to be part of a dynamic team that values clinical excellence and compassionate care.
