Job Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Record patient histories, physical exam findings, test results, and treatment plans as directed by the physician.
- Operate and manage EHR and electronic dictation systems efficiently.
- Anticipate physician needs to maintain smooth clinic operations.
- Proofread and edit physician documentation for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Attend training sessions on relevant topics such as information technology, HIPAA compliance, medical billing, and coding.
- Assist in tracking patient follow-ups and compliance.
- Perform clerical and administrative support tasks as needed.
