Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Welfare Officer in a renowned garment company located in Narsingdi, Bangladesh. We are committed to maintaining a positive work environment and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will not only have substantial experience but will also demonstrate a passion for welfare development in the garment industry.To counsel the workers regarding company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.Ensure a safe, healthy, and positive work environment for all employees.Counsel absentee workers to identify root causes of absences.Monitor facilities such as canteen, restroom, drinking water, childcare, and medical services for compliance with labor laws.Conduct regular meetings with the Workers' Participation Committee (WPC) and Safety Committee to address employee concerns.Maintain grievance registers and ensure timely resolution of worker complaints.Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, Labor Rules 2015, Better Work ILO standards, and buyer Code of Conduct requirements.Conduct training on workplace ethics, gender equality, anti-harassment policies, and management training as per compliance requirements.Maintain up-to-date records/logs of counseling areas and report to the HR Head.Promote employee participation in games, sports, and cultural events.Manage various committees and their activities.Qualifications:Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management or related field.Candidates should be between 22 to 30 years old and only female applicants are welcome.Experience: Candidates with 2-6 years of experience in the garment sector will be preferred, although freshers are encouraged to apply.Benefits:Mobile bill, insurance, performance bonus, provident fund, travel allowance, tour allowance, and credit card benefits.Partially subsidized lunch facilities.Yearly salary reviews and two festival bonuses.If you're passionate about enhancing workplace welfare and meet the qualifications, we invite you to apply for this position!
